Supplements and Herbs That Can Help:
Rheumatoid Arthritis and other Autoimmune Diseases often bring vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Get bloodwork done and review your healing program with your doctor, to see if you have any nutritional deficiencies. Vitamin D and B are common ones to be deficient in.

IMPORTANT: Like any other treatments, there can be side effects, or interactions with medicine that you may be taking. Always check with your doctor when adding supplements and herbs. If on blood thinners, make sure to be aware of any interactions. A lot of natural remedies, such as herbs, spices, etc can thin the blood.
Here’s the thing, some people think that supplements because they are "natural" can't cause harm, and that's not true. Which is why it's important to research thoroughly anything that you're considering taking. Furthermore, you need to keep a more realistic view on westernized medicine. It's not about trust, it's about understanding the efficacy of the medication, understanding side effects, taking a very honest look at the symptoms and disease progression and then making the best decision for your individual case.

MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane): a sulphur derivative which can help improve hormone and protein function.
Multi- Vitamin: It is common to have an overall nutritional deficiency than a specific one. Avoid added fillers and coloring agents. ​
B Vitamins: B Complex will help - NOW Supplements, Vitamin B-100: 
Vitamin D3: A Fat soluble vitamin that is essential for building and maintaining teeth and bones. Aids in absorption of calcium and phosphorus. Steroids can cause bone deterioration, so vitamin D should be included. However, do not take too much, as fat soluble vitamins can be toxic in large doses. NOW Vitamin D-3 5,000 IU,240 Softgels
Vitamin E: Has been shown to help with leg cramps and restless leg syndrome. 400mg. Take at bedtime with Calcium and magnesium to increase effectiveness. Important antioxidant, works to bind free radicals. Essential to the formation of red blood cells, and maintain a healthy immune system.

Magnesium: Helps relax muscles, help with sleep. Works with many enzymes to regulate body temperature and allows nerves and muscles to contact and synthesize proteins

Probiotics: Probiotics are live bacteria and yeast that are good for your digestive system. Can help with weight loss, digestion, immune function, and can colonize your gut with health boosting microorganisms.
Boswellia Serrate (Indian Frankincense): Can help prevent cartilage loss, and has anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties.
Capsaicin: Pain relieving properties, available in a topical cream or gel.

Turmeric/ Curcumin: Reduces inflammation.
Glucosamine and Chrondoitin: These are usually taken together. Glucosamine inhibits free- radical production and inflammation. It can speed up wound healing and scarring. It can help in healing joints and the gastrointestinal tract. Chrondoitin can stimulate the production of cartilage and stop the action of enzymes that break down cartilage.
Ginger: Fresh ginger in cooking and teas, has anti-inflammatory effects.
Cat’s Claw: Is an anti-inflammatory, that inhibits TNF(tumor necrosis factor), a target of RA drugs. Can help repair DNA, anti viral, boosts immune function. Improves digestion.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Fish Oil, Algae Oil, Flaxseed and Chia Seeds.
Bromelain: an enzyme extract derived from the stems of pineapples. Can ease pain and swelling.

Cardamom: Can act as an anti-inflammatory, helps with digestion
